AI coaching and a 21-course lesson program are now in the app: from swing analysis to the fix
SmartGolf Service has added premium AI coaching and a staged lesson program to its golf practice app, SmartGolf AIX, released on iOS and Android at the same time.
The gap was what comes after the measurement.
Swing analysers show you numbers like club speed and face angle. Whether that number is good or bad, and what to change if it is bad, was left to you to work out. This version fills that gap.
Problem, symptom and what to change, on one screen
When a swing ends, the result comes back in three steps. It names the problem (“in your last swings the face was closed at impact”), explains the symptom (“the club head is too closed”), then tells you what to change (“make the head square and set the grip weaker”). Alongside it you get your face and path drawn next to the reference line, and a correction video.

Every metric now carries a judgement line. Face angle is sorted into good, needs work, or alarm. Distance has banded references too, so you can read what your own number means.
The prescription goes down to how much to practise: “1 set, 15 swings, check after every swing”, with the order of what to fix first. Guidance comes as on-screen text and a coach voice, in Korean, English and Japanese.
21 courses across three levels
For problems that one correction does not solve, the app now carries a staged lesson program. Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, each with explanation courses, hands-on practice courses and quizzes, 21 in total. Beginner covers posture and principles such as grip and address, Intermediate covers distance around smash factor, Advanced covers accuracy through club path, face and angle gap. Progress is recorded, and you can jump straight from the correction screen into the lesson.

The lessons are not something you only watch. A real lesson video sits beside a 3D animation and a moving diagram so you can compare the motion, and the avatar on screen follows your own swing so you can practise against what you just watched. In the practice courses the sensor measures the real swing, and you pass only when you clear the target distance and direction.
It connects to the coach dashboard
This data feeds the coach dashboard the company released in August. What a student practises in the app, and the AI analysis of it, lands on the instructor’s screen, so solo practice and lessons stay joined up.
From the CXO
Jongmin Kim, CXO of SmartGolf Service, said: “Plenty of devices already measure. The hard part was always what comes after you get the number. If it does not tell you what to change and how, the data is of no use.”
How to get it
