What is Smartgolf?

SMARTGOLF is the world's first Smart Golf swing trainer that can analyze and trace your swing. Unlike other mechanic swing trainers, SMARTGOLF can provide feedback and tips on how to improve your swing via the Smartphone or PC App.

Who can use SMARTGOLF?

SMARTGOLF is the perfect training tool for golfers of any age. It was specially designed for those struggling to find time and places to practice their swing.

WHAT SEPARATES SMARTGOLF FROM OTHER GOLF SWING TRAINERS?

Our unique Wi-Fi connection allows users to connect their SMARTGOLF to almost any smart devices, avoiding any connection issues caused by using standard Bluetooth. Furthermore, due to the build-in hardware, SMARTGOLF provides more accurate data than any other swing trainer.

HOW IS THE SMART CLUB SUITED FOR INDOOR USE?

We’ve engineered the golf club to be shorter in length (36.2 ") to protect you from damaging your surrounding environment or accidentally knocking out a colleague.

CAN I HIT THE BALL WITH SMARTGOLF CLUB?

Please refrain from hitting a golf ball with the Smart Golf Club. The Smart club was specifically designed to improve your sing mechanism without the ball. Do not hit the ball, human, or any other object with the club.

 

 

Product, Hardware and Details

WHY IS IT 36.2 INCHES LONG?

We wanted to create a tool for you to practice golf without the need to go to a golf course or driving range. Therefore we decided that our swing trainer should be a bit shorter, so that the user can practice inside their office or house without the risk of hitting anything.

HOW WILL THE CLUB WEIGH IF IT'S SHORTER?

The club length is made shorter (36.2") than a normal driver for an optimal indoor purpose. The main principle of a swing mechanism is the centrifugal force. Shorter length means shorter radius compared to a regular driver's. Therefore we added more weight to the club head to compensate this loss of centrifugal force so that the user can practice or play with a SMARTGOLF Club as a normal driver even if the club length is shorter.

WILL THE HARDWARE/SENSORS AFFECT THE WEIGHT BALANCE?

The weight of the club has been balanced to resemble a normal club, therefore the hardware does not affect the swing.

WILL SMARTGOLF BE AVAILABLE FOR LEFT-HANDED GOLFERS?

Unfortunately, the products from the first line of production is not for left-handed users. However, we plan to start manufacturing left-handed clubs within a month after the first shipment. Feel free to indicate that you are left-handed and contact@smartgolf.biz, so that we can try our best to accomdate your needs ASAP.

DO I NEED TO CHANGE BATTERIES?

There is no need to change batteries. The batteries are rechargeable lithium-ion 1200 mAH and will last for a long time, but like all batteries, they tend to decrease their running time over their life which may lead to shorter game time between each recharge.

BE CATIOUS WHEN CHARGING!

Li-Ion batteries are very powerful, and if overcharged it may swell and in some cases explode. If you notice your batteries have begun to swell, turn the charger off and contact your nearest recycle station for advice. Handle the product with care and keep away from children and animals.

WHERE SHOULD I DEPOSE THE Smart Golf CLUB?

Since the Smart Golf club contains batteries and other electronics, you should contact your local recycle station and hand it to them, explaining that the club contains Li-Ion batteries. The club should not be disposed with normal garbage since it may be harmful to the environment or people handling the trash if not dealt with correctly.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE REGULAR AND THE STIFF CLUB?

The only difference between Stiff and Regular club is the stiffness of the club's shaft. The SMARTGOLF Stiff has a slightly harder shaft compared to the SMARTGOLF Regular.

 

SMARTGOLF, how does it work?

Nothing beats going back to the basics. SMARTGOLF will display your swing against the optimal trajectory, discouraging bad habits and promoting correct swing repetitions to store in your long-term muscle memory. You can also save, review and examine your performance and improvements any time.

WHEN WILL I START TO SEE POSITIVE RESULTS IN MY SWING?

Improvements can be seen instantly through the App. If you have improved your swing plan or speed, you will receive feedback that you are on the right track.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO IMPROVE MY SWING?

I'm sure you've heard that practice makes perfect. Well it's true. SMARTGOLF provides you with advanced training package to help and guide you in improving your swing. However, scientists and golf trainers say that it takes around 300 - 10,000 repetitions to form muscle memory. Therefore, the more you practice, the sooner you will see results. This is why our SMARTGOLF swing trainer is so perfect. SMARTGOLF allows you to practice enough in order to develop your swing, anytime and anywhere.

HOW CAN I LEARN TO USE SMARTGOLF

The set up for SMARTGOLF is very simple! All you need to do is swing the club like any normal club or swing trainer, then let the App tell you how to adjust your swing. The club comes with a detailed user manual and the App has a guide built in to learn how to interpret the data and apply it in the future.

WHERE CAN I USE SMARTGOLF?

The swing trainer can be used whenever and wherever. The 36.2 inch shaft makes it perfect for practicing inside your home or at the office.

HOW DO I GET WI-FI CONNECTION BETWEEN THE APP AND CLUB?

The built in Wi-Fi transmiter of the club means an external Wi-Fi or phone data is not required to use the club and application.

HOW DOES THE CLUB TRACK MY SWING?

The club has advanced 3-axis accelerometer and gyroscope sensors, which track the clubs movement in any direction. With a patented algorithm, the App is able to analyze the swing accurately and provide detailed feedback.

DOES SMARTGOLF WORK FOR BOTH LEFT-HANDED GOLFERS AND RIGHT-HANDED GOLFERS?

Yes! the App can detect whether or not you are left-handed or right-handed. However, for SMARTGOLF to effectively improve your golf swing, we recommend that you order the club with your preferred hand side. Left-handed golf club will soon be available to order in late 2016.

AFTER I SWING, THE CLUB STARTS TRANSMITTING DATA TO THE DEVICE BUT STOPS WITHOUT TRANSFERING ALL OF THE DATA. WHY?

The club's batteries may be running low. Please charge the club for about 1 hour and then continue your swing practice.

HOW DOES THE SMARTGOLF CLUB KNOW WHERE TO HIT THE BALL WITHOUT ACTUALLY HITTING A PHYSICAL BALL?

SMARTGOLF uses it's own patented system to aim the ball within the SMARTGOLF App. The user can see and hit the ball within the App, without even using a physical one. After pressing the Smart Button on the club's shaft, the SMARTGOLF system will automatic select the correct center address position between the legs of the user and start recording the golfer's swing after 3 seconds.

 

 

Connectifity, Connecting to Device.

HOW DOES THE CLUB CONNECT WITH MY DEVICE?

The club transmits swing data instantly to our App on your Smart device via Wi-Fi. No wires are required.

WHAT KIND OF DEVICES CAN SMARTGOLF CONNECT TO?

The Smart club can connect to any smart device with Wi-Fi connectivity, including tablet, PC, Smart TV or phone (iPhone and Android).

WHY DO YOU USE WI-FI, WHEN MOST OF YOUR COMPETITORS ARE USING BLUETOOTH?

Unlike bluetooth, Wi-Fi enables the club to connect to a wider range of devices and has greater reliability. We wanted to build a swing trainer which is easy to use and compatible with all different kinds of technology, including the office projector.

THE CLUB DOES NOT CONNECT WITH MY DEVICE.

First, please check your device to see if the Wi-Fi is turned on and that the device is not set to flight mode. Second, check to see if the led lights are turned on, if not, the club might need to be recharged. If the club does not connect with the App, try turning the club on and off. If the network light indicates that the club is connected with the App, please check to make sure that no other devices are connected.

 

 

Purchase, Return, and Warranty

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A PROOF OF PURCHASE AND WANT TO RETURN MY ITEM?

If you have conducted the point of purchase directly from Smartgolf.biz, we would have a record of your purchase and can locate it for you. Please let us know the order number. If you do not have the order number, we may be able to locate it using your name, address and e-mail address. If you have purchased from an authorized dealer or seller, contact the dealer or seller and see if they can provide a copy of your receipt. Most sellers will often have your purchase history on file and be able to supply a copy of the receipt for you. If the product was purchased online, check your e-mail history and old e-mails. The vendor should have sent you a confirmation page or receipt showing that the product has been shipped to you. If the product was a gift or prize, we suggest that you ask the person who purchased the product to provide you with a proof of purchase receipt.

WHY DOES SMARTGOLF REQUIRE A VALID PROOF OF PURCHASE?

SMARTGOLF must positively identify that the product falls within the applicable Limited Warranty period. We also need to verify that the product was purchased from an authorized seller of our products.

WHY DOES SMARTGOLF DEMAND THAT THE PURCHASE WAS MADE FROM AN AUTHORIZED SELLER?

Products purchased from non-authorized dealers are often used, counterfeit, re-boxed, defective or gray market goods. These units may also not be designed and packaged to work in your country and may not meet all legal and safety requirements. Smartgolf will not be able to honor a Limited Warranty on products that were purchased from unauthorized sellers or exceeding the Limited Warranty period. If you have purchased the product from an unauthorized dealer, all support and Limited Warranty issues should be dealt with unauthorized dealer directly. SMARTGOLF has these policies in place to protect both our valued customers and resellers.
